Simple terms for a one-time software purchase.

Software provider and effective date

These terms apply to SmartDeck, which is licensed and supported by Pranav Patidar, based in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. They are effective from 18 July 2026.

Merchant of record

Dodo Payments is the merchant of record for SmartDeck purchases. Dodo Payments handles checkout, payment processing, applicable tax, receipts, refunds, secure order downloads, and license issuance.

License and delivery

Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use SmartDeck on one Windows PC at a time. Installer access is available from the purchase-status page, your Dodo Payments receipt, or the Dodo Payments Customer Portal. The license key is delivered with the order receipt.

Early access and installer

SmartDeck is early-access software. The current Windows installer is intentionally unsigned, so Windows may display “Unknown Publisher” and Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may appear.

Updates

SmartDeck does not include an automatic updater. Any updates that are offered must be downloaded and installed manually. We do not guarantee an update cadence, frequency, or release date.

Refunds

You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase. Refund requests are handled through Dodo Payments and are subject to Dodo Payments' policies. A request may be declined where there is evidence of fraud, abuse, or repeated refunding, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. An approved refund disables the associated license.

Acceptable use

You may not resell, sublicense, share, reverse engineer for circumvention, or use SmartDeck or its license system unlawfully. Local plugins run as trusted code; only install plugins from sources you trust.

Warranty and liability

SmartDeck is provided as-is to the extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for indirect losses, third-party display software, plugins, or services. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer law that gives you additional rights or permits proceedings elsewhere.
